Sascatoon's sire's pedigree is 100% Blue listed parentage and her mother is a Legend cat so you really cannot top that but she has done just that, by showing so many wonderful bobcat traits in her behavior, she has never been trained to do any of these and we now know they have come down through the legend cat breeding of her mother as she also does some of these same things. Toony is a marvelous cat unlike any other cat I have ever known, she is incredibly intelligent and treat people as equals, she loves to ride around on your shoulders and cuddle up but is never pushy about it but makes it clear what she would like. If she wants something she will stop you in your tracks and sit up begging like a dog in front of you until you work out what she wants, if you do not get it right she will go over the procedure again from the start and you get to think harder what it is she wants, if you get it right she is happy and you may go on your way
Her sire NW Heritage Catken is as I said before 100% blue listed and he has four Legend cats in his pedigree so this makes this wonderful cross of bloodlines in Sascatoon very special not only to me but as a producer for the future! Sascatoon was bred before being imported to a known producer of guaranteed large and wonderfully spotted quality kittens; she had two wonderful kittens for me one of each sex so I am keeping both for my program.
Very sadly for myself and Lauren both Sascatoon and her mother Josta cat had to be spayed within a short time of each other due to different reasons and Sascatoon's two litters are the only cats now that can carry on this unbelievable line. One female still resides in the USA, while Jasmine and Sabu are here with me. Sascatoon and her offspring all have the primordial pouch as does her legend cat mother Josta, these bloodlines are prized indeed.
